If you are dressing up for Halloween, what's your costume?

Just a light hearted thread ☺️

This year, as it falls on a Saturday, our adult kids are all working so we are doing a mini pub crawl and then dinner and drinks at home.

I normally do a spooky theme outfit - last year was bride of frankinstein but I fancied a change.

Me - Ziggy Stardust
DH - Says it's a surprise 😬
DSS - Harley quinn
DSF - Elton John
DM - Won't tell me either

Is anyone else taking part the festivity+ this year?

I'm throwing my first ever kids halloween party this year! I'm going as a glam-pire. I chose this as I left it too late to order a proper costume so now I'm having to improvise.

My DD is going to be a witch and my DS is going as a squid (please don't ask why, as I really don't know).

I shall go as myself - the Grim Repear

I ordered a Traitors Cloak as the best costume ever, allowing me to wear anything under it, but despite claiming next day delivery it hasn't arrived a week later. So I don't know!

My ziggy costume never arrived despite having next day delivery. Luckily the town I live in has a costume shop so I managed to get a different version.

Amazon might be a good shout for next day in time for tomorrow.

Trick or treating is a huge thing where we are, to the extent people bus their kids in from other areas to trick or treat round here. DS is going to be a glow in the dark skeleton, DH is going to be a grumpy middle aged man, I’m going to be Winifred Sanderson, and the dog has one of those giant spider outfits and I’ve been teaching her to chase people up the driveway. Grin

(Before the MN dog haters descend upon me en masse - we live in a very doggy area, obviously I will check first if people are ok with dogs, she knows she’s not to go past the gate, and can’t fit out anyway with the costume on, and she’s an old dog and we’ve lived here a long time - people expect to see her all dressed up!)
