Call or turn up?

DS has organised some work experience, he's going today and tomorrow. The guy he organised it with confirmed the dates and said he would get back to him a week before to let him have more details. Except he hasn't and DS realised this today and has only just told me.
Should he turn up when they open (at 7)?
Call them at 7? The earliest he could then get there would be at 8:05.

Obviously that should say he's supposed to be going tomorrow and Friday!

will the organiser be on duty at the time? as if not there is a chance that dc will turn up and staff will be all who the hell is this we cannot let them in without permission and dc will need to go away again.

has he checked his spam? and deleted items just in case there is an email in either?

I've no idea if he'll be there. Not in spam or deleted, I checked.

What type of organisation is it?

At only 16 are you able to accompany, not to speak to the organisation (he should do that himself ideally) but to lurk round the corner in case he's sent away?
