Apartment therapy website for house tour photos and before and after pictures. I like seeing how people decorate their space especially if their taste is similar to mine.

An Australian councillor who does garden type drain and edging grass type things. I got curious as to why Australians in general seem to have a lot of drain issues compared to the uk, apparently they are built completely differently for some reason, I can’t remember why exactly but it was very interesting.

Crocodiles in the desert

the ‘eye’ in the desert

the Swedish authorities who appear to be ousting every British person they can find regardless of their personal circumstances

afghanis in Australia, a lot of them were there since the 1860s,

what is north Asia (it’s Siberia etc)

unexpected minority groups in unexpected places (unexpected = to me, white British) eg started with afghanis in Australia (see above), also African/japanese in Japan, Welsh in Patagonia, Indian/white in India etc,

chorleywood bread

and so on.

Just thought of two more - the Erin Patterson appeal result will be live-streamed tomorrow at about 10pm UK time

the Villa Vie cruise ship. That one I’ve been reading about on and off since a man was videoed in a Belfast comedy show, now they’ve all been turfed out in Cambodia. Fascinating stuff.

Surely the whole point is that it's something different every time? In the last week, I've spent an hour or more on the history of torii gates, what a Reynolds number is, and square packing.

Recently the Congo river. I followed Ash Dykes expedition on social media and found it fascinating how scary and dangerous the Congo basin is. What blows my mind is that the Congo river is up to 220 meters deep!!

Yep. I decided to read up on Catherine of Aragon! To be fair, it's often something historical.

My 'go to', though, is abscess draining or Dr Pimple Popper.

I’m glad I’m not the only one reading it thinking “ooh that’s interesting” and considering opening google again!

I’m picturing it being like that puddle scene in Vicar of Dibley 😂

Sheep, alpaca and llama shearing
Cattle hoof restoration
Garden clearance
Extreme decluttering
Street drain unblocking
Cleaning road signs

I think there's a pattern here 🤣
