what am I supposed to do with this? online takeaway order and non delivery

I ordered a meal over two hours ago for home delivery. I got an order confirmation and screenshot. I got an estimate delivery time for 7.25pm.

At 7.50 pm I rang the restaurant because I didn't get the delivery and I was told they are busy and the driver is just after leaving and should be with me shortly.

I rang again at 8.25 to require about it and apparently the driver has reached my village now and he's in the village.

9 minutes after that call, still nothing.

What will I do now at this stage. If I knew it was going to take so fucking long, I would have had cereal instead.

Yeah, very annoying but at least you didnt have to cook. I would accept the delivery and try to enjoy it or maybe you could have it for lunch/ dinner tomorrow?

Have you ordered through Just Eat or similar? If so, you can request a refund even if you get your food at this point, I think

There nothing in my house to cook

Except for ironically a packet of paneer cheese.

I got that, I just didn't take it seriously. I stock piled knitting projects and alcohol.
