Feel so sad today. Anyone else feeling a bit down? I think I need a good cry.

But I rarely ever cry. Maybe need to watch a film or something

Ok

Hope you get the release you need. The Notebook or Marley and me always sets me off.

tomorrowfollowstoday · 25/10/2026 12:42

Do you have any songs that set you off?

Hope you feel better soon.

Not today so much but I was yesterday , not helped by the awful weather. Sorry you're feeling so low op. I definitely recommend watching a film or even just sad music if that might do it. I tend to feel a lot better after a cry.

Saturdaysfairies · 25/10/2026 12:45

I know the feeling.

afaloren · 25/10/2026 12:46

I watch Field of Dreams when I need a good cry.

Go for a walk and then cosy up in the house. Good Will Hunting or Shawshank Redemption always make me cry. Some days are just tough Flowers

Felt like it yesterday . Dark and windy with rain . Made myself do one useful task , the ironing and then just went with it . Caught up on Netflix , thought about Christmas! and early night after bath. Today is much better . Hope tomorrow will be OK for you .

No reason for me to feel down. Just one if those days. Maybe it’s the gloomy weather combined with gloomy politics. I’m going to watch the Netflix drama 1883 as that’s meant to be quite harsh so will match my mood.

Sunday blues! I get them often. I felt a bit tearful today. A good TV wallow can be good. If I was well (chronic illness) I would get out somewhere for some fresh air.

I've had a properly shit few months and lost it yesterday when I couldn't put my hand on something I know is somewhere in the shed. I had a massive, messy cry just there in the shed. God help me if the neighbours were outside. I needed it.

ET or the Railway Children, or Steel Magnolias are my go-to blub-fest films.

Hope you feel better soon op.

It's the clocks changing - beginning of all the gloom that is winter. Roll on Summer!

Emmylou22 · 25/10/2026 14:35

I feel the same, OP. Felt very flat for months and yesterday I had a complete meltdown over something relatively minor. Life feels tough atm 😞
Sending you best wishes ❤️

OMG Marley and Me. I did big loud ugly crying in the cinema. So embarrassing.
