Thinking about a trip to Efetling next year at summer half term. Any advice?

2 kids 9 and 12. Haven't been abroad in a while, largely due to being out off by the high heat in southern Europe. Thinking further north. Never been to a theme park. Have heard good things about Efetling.

We will not be taking the car, we live near London.

Any advice on travel, where to stay and places to stay for a few days after.

Can't advise on travel as we drive there, but Efteling is amazing.

You can stay on-site - there are little woodland villages which are about a 10 minute walk from the park and, there are also hotel options - either at the entrance to the villages or the new Grand Hotel which is actually in the park. Probably quite expensive to stay there though - depends on your budget.

We've only been once (going back next year). There will be plenty of MNetters with much more experience of the range of accommodation near the park and other places to visit.
