Inlaws are very well off. We are poor.
Inlaws asked for my Christmas present list. They want to spend around £500. But I don't know much about expensive stuff, what's good and what's a waste of money. I've put on an attachment for our climbing frame but that's all I can think of. If i ask for money or premium bonds it will sit in our account for months until the car needs new tires or the washing machine breaks down. I don't want something useful, I want something fun for me to make my life easier and more fun. My SIL has expensive tastes and always asks for expensive jewellery and handbags but I don't really like expensive stuff and I would be too scared to use them.
I drink a lot (soft drinks) so I'm wondering about those water bottles like air up or the ones with the fruit in or those ones with the syrup inserts. Are they worth it? And which one is good. I've tried the water drop cubes and found they taste quite powdery if that makes sense.
I like listening to music while walking. My ipod stopped working recently so I've been using YouTube on my phone but I keep running out of data. I use my cd player but the same old cds are getting boring and the cd player keeps skipping when it gets jiggled around. So i don't know whether to ask for more cds or something else to play music on, but what?
I volunteer at park run so maybe something to keep myself warm but not sure what.
I was wondering about some fancy kitchen gadget like a bread maker or slushie maker. They look really easy or are they difficult, messy with a load of parts that don't go in the dishwasher?
Maybe I should ask for new clothes that don't have holes but I don't really have occasions to wear nice clothes to.
I always ask for 2 big bottles of lush shower gel that I will make last all year.
I'm wondering if I should ask for something like a costa voucher so I can have a few little treats throughout the year.
Please help before I give up and ask for 500 chocolate oranges!
