Who thought Prince William was quite attractive on Graham Norton?

He was never my type! Not that he was an option 😂 but I thought he looked very hot and came across as a lovely person!

I definitely didn’t realise he had such a strong frame - somehow I missed that he is tall. I noticed that he posses an authority. It is a way of being rather than something he does. (Because presumably he does tell a lot people what to do/expect them to do it).

So maybe that is what you were responding to?

Ifailed · Today 06:26

He looks like a spoilt, selfish little brat, squabbling with his brother.

You got that from watching the programme?

I'm attracted to his frame - tall and slender. I also think he's a nice looking man and always comes across well mannered, good humoured. Definitely a more relaxed, less stiff personality and demeanour than his father and grandmother.

I don't blame him one bit for blanking Harry, after the way H&M have behaved towards the family.

I think you’re getting him confused with the other brother

TooLateForAnything · Today 06:57

Nope. I get that we all find different people attractive, but I’ve read people on here describing him as conventionally attractive, which isn’t true. Anyway, no reason he should be attractive, he’s the future King, not a model.

I know right?! I thought he came across well as he usually does - seems like a decent bloke.

HoraceCope · Today 07:09

i would say both his father and his grandfather had/have good sense of humour, although his grandfather was not very pc

There's as bad as each other.

Surely the authority is because he’s been groomed from birth to rule over us peasants.

HoraceCope · Today 08:22

He doesn't actually rule though

I have to disagree. William and Catherine have kept a dignified silence.
No prime time chat shows, books or Netflix series from them.
Far more class than the Sussexes - thankfully.

HoraceCope · Today 08:24

William will reign but not rule

Autumnbeaches · Today 08:25

I personally think that monarchies are an outdated concept and no person is a better class than another through birth. So I’m not coming at this from an ‘I lurve the royals, me’ angle.

Having said that, and given we do have one, I do not know how people could want more than what we have. W&K are a polite, restrained couple who may not do as much as Princess Ann, but also seem to want to live low key along the lines of other European royal families. They live in a fabulous house by normal standards, but it’s not a castle, they seem to love their kids and tread a line between being private and discreet family people and happy enough to get dressed up and show up. I mean many of us say we want the royals to scale it down and be more low key - they are pretty much doing that.

He seems a reasonably friendly decent man who has weathered personal storms and who, by the standards of the royal family, is reasonably drama free.

But then I would hate to be a royal, apart from the economic security, what a curse.

issyforqueen · Today 08:25

I thought he came across as charming, witty and self deprecating, which is always attractive in a person. He was also able to laugh at himself with that unflattering photo! I'm also glad that the programme didn't focus entirely on him, everyone else was involved.
Mostly, I'm impressed with Earthshot; which actually is a very practical and optimistic long term project.

threetrainers · Today 08:38

I never trust the public persona of a famous person, they are often highly PR trained. Tom Cruise manages to come across pretty normal than I remember he isn’t 😆

CuteHANDBAG · Today 08:43

William is not the ‘decent’ bloke people make him out to be. He’s extraordinarily wealthy, with an income of millions and millions a year , yet benefits from tax exemptions, charges rent to public services AND charities, and has been exposed for letting out homes with appalling insulation. He also chose to stop publishing how much income tax he pays(unlike his father)
Then there’s all the fake environmental campaigning he does , while the royal family enjoys extraordinary exemptions from environmental laws. The royals are also exempt from provisions of numerous laws that the rest of us have to follow. If he was the modern decent person he pretends to be he would do something about it.
For a family with so much wealth, they seem remarkably keen to protect their wealth. William isn’t king yet, but I’d have a lot more respect for him if he started challenging these privileges rather than benefiting from them.
He isn’t stupid and has that well rounded confident personality that very privilidged private school people can have but he also has that awful entitledness too. Things like when he used a RAF helicopter to attend a stag do… that kind of thing that shows he really doesn’t care about anyone other than himself and his own family.
Unfortuanatly he is surrounded by self interested suck ups

Isn't GN a prime time chat show?

I am not attracted to him, I prefer the more manly rugby player type, but I think he is an attractive good looking and clearly fit man,

I used to think Harry was rhe better looking one, but William has aged much better. Harry seems to be desperately trying to hold on to his hair and it looks bad, and his face is always miserable, angry or irritated, you can see it,

where as William comes across as fit, healthy, happy and relaxed, and he’s clearly a good looking man,

I often think you can tell, though. A lot of this was clearly off the cuff, I thought he was very natural and low key. Mostly I was impressed by Earthshot.

You make a good point about the inner person, because I do think it shines through, and if someone is bitter and unhappy it shows on their face and in their manner. I also don't think it's healthy to always focus on the negatives in your life.

threetrainers · Today 08:49

@issyforqueendisagree, Will will have had media & PR training for years, it’s part of his job.

Ihateboris · Today 08:49

He has that unfortunate smile that looks more like a grimace. He also has a look of Wallace 🤣

But he got an Easy jet flight so he must be like me!
