I'm kicking myself - I've just washed a pair of trousers with my debit card in the pocket. It was a short, cool wash and thankfully I realised before I put the clothes in the tumble dryer. It looks ok, not bent, cracked or scratched, so I'm hoping it will still work. My plan is to leave it in a warmish, dry place to dry out thoroughly overnight and then I'll go out and try it in a cash machine tomorrow. Obviously if it doesn't work I'll have to order a new one which will be a bit of a nuisance as I've not had this one long and have only just updated all my automatic payments. Just wondered if anyone else had ever done the same and had a card that survived? I'm very annoyed with myself for being so stupid!
