Have you ever had anything you wrote/created optioned for TV/Film? What happened?

Just curious really.
A project that I have a writing credit on was optioned by a streaming service a few years ago. Got a small option fee - then never heard of it again. I wasn't the main creator so just sat back to see what would happen. Nothing, it turns out.

Anyone got further along and have a better (or worse) story?

There are quite often posts from successful authors so I just wondered if there were successful optioners/optioned people too.

My experience is that probably most optioned products get no further than the option stage. It was very exciting when it happened to me, but a few years later, I am less optimistic!

Have a game show quiz but nobody accepts unsolicited work at all. You can't send it anywhere.
