Hard wearing school shoes for teen boys help!!!

DS has ruined his shoes already less than half a term. They weren’t cheap and I’m desperate to find suggestions for shoes that are tough enough to play football in (!) but smart enough for the no trainers policy.

I will also be insisting he changes into Astros at lunch but I can’t guarantee he’ll actually do that of course.

Anyone got any recommendations for brands that are particularly hard wearing???

My 17 year old ds is football mad! He wears hush puppies to school, have a browse, his are smart but also soft and flexible but hard wearing.

My 16yr old wears black Nike 95s for school and they seem pretty indestructible.

DS wore startrite shoes almost exclusively from reception-Y10 and they were indestructible. The one year I went slightly cheaper I had to replace twice.
