Best 21st presents for a girl

Want to buy a present for a lovely girl. Imagine she will get lots of jewellery and don’t know her taste so don’t want to go down that route.
is money too crass?
what was the best thing you were given/have given?

I was given a beautiful musical jewellery box for mine by a family member, which I still have. Might not be everyone’s cup of tea, though. I think cash is OK if you can’t think of anything.

Tickets for an event/gig

Spa day for 2.

As you don’t know her taste, I’d give cash.

How about a good handbag? Depends how well you know her and her style, but you could give her a gift receipt in case she didn’t like it.

You could also consider a pair of sunglasses. I bought a pair of RayBans for my DD (20) on a whim in an airport duty free and she loved them and has worn them frequently since.

A decent gel nail kit (Mylee - about £100) was also very well received, as was a pair of Dr Marten boots.

Other ideas include:

A weekend away and a shopping trip in a nearby city (nice hotel with pool, etc)

A ‘good’ coat
Perfume (not sure what the youngsters wear but you could ask)
Make up if you know what she likes, though you can’t go wrong with something like the Clinique black honey range
Gig tickets if you know her taste in music.

What kind of relationship do you have with her, and what is your budget?
