I’ve seen a few threads recently and comments say “they are looking for a fight” or “it’s not worth the agro”

I guess my question is if you see someone doing something wrong where is your limit to say something?

We complain the world is going to pot and the youth of today etc. I think in the 60s / 70s it was more normal for people to call each other out. Where as today we keep to ourselves, with less of a community feel, it’s someone else problem.

Examples such as men in sports cars parking in parent / child or disabled spaces? Dropping litter. Damaging property. Using offensive language around children.

When would you say something about vs not and why?

I think you're imagining an unreal past - how old were you in the 60s/70s?

P&C parking didn't exist in the 60s/70s, people parked easily as there were far fewer cars and they were much smaller.

Bad language around children - that's always happened.

Litter - people always dropped litter, but there was less litter to drop - no plastic bottles, much less takeaway food. But people chucked their cigarette ends away as standard.

Damaging property - no idea if this is up or down. My anecdotal input is the bus seats were way more vandalised when I was young, and loads of graffiti everywhere.
