Super injunction.

Apparently a well known star has asked not to be named as a rapist due to his mental health issues. I have a message for him which is Don't rape women in the first place and you would not need an injunction. If he can't face the consequences just act like an honourable person. He will be found out just like others have in the past. The old phrase comes to mind If you can't do the time don't do the crime.

I thought the whole point of a super injunction is that the public aren't even supposed to know that one exists.

Well I think it is known who this person is. Annoying that a super injunction can take into account the mental health issues of a perpetrator as more important than the impact on the victims
of this man. Yet again men more important than women.

There is information that David Walliams asked for an injunction some months ago. He must now be taking out a super injunction.

So does this post actually relate to DW? If not, can you give the initials of the person you are talking about as I'm a noisy cow but can keep a secret

DancingonmyOwn88 · 19/10/2026 22:05

It is DW and it’s about time he was held to account, regardless of any threats he might make to take his own life.

Super injunction.

Apparently according to who?

madaboutpurple · 20/10/2026 11:44

The above info shows it is him. There is a lot of info available.

It is him, I see my comment and picture of a court document naming him is now back up. Good.

My DH always looks at French newspapers because they are not run along the same lines. He has found out lots of details in the past. However there is a lot of info on David W on the net. Super injunctions never stay unknown for long. I don't know why people bother really as the person is found out.

DH adds that foreign newspapers and media can often get away with putting in detail that a British newspaper simply can't, because they aren't obliged to follow British law. He says that if you can read another language or if you have a little fluency, this can be very helpful in finding out things British papers and TV don't tell you. He did wonder if the sort of people who impose superinjunctions have worked this out yet, or if they think the average Brit is too lazy or stupid to bother with other languages! (however, where a foreign paper might do an English version, this is often forced to censor, not by its own editors but by the ISP)
