Very grateful for any recs- I'd like a fairly powerful one with decent kneading. Looking nice is a bonus but secondary to performance.

Thank you!

I have only had one so I can’t compare it to any others, old or new.
I have a kitchen aid and it’s now 35 years old!

Kenwood chef! Mine is 30 years old, my mum’s is 63 years old.

I have a K-mix. I got it for a steal in a black friday sale after realising that mixers were a lot more expensive than I expected. I don't have the strength anymore to hand mix. My Mum still uses the Kenwood chef she got as a wedding present 43 years ago. I usually use the k beater for cakes, but my husband has used the dough hook a few times for bread.
