ADVICE ON - Bathroom panels, boards, aquarapanels...whatever you call them!!!

Having the bathroom renovated - bath out and shower installed. In the shower area only, having boards/panels/aquaboard or whatever you call it...on walls.

Hate the smooth, flat shiney board ...stuff you sort of see in hospitals. (Priced up at Around £250)

Ive seen some terrezzo light grey board/panels with a stone/pebble design that's got a texture to it. Love this... But 2 large panels and 2 x small boards for the ends is over £1k

Is there anything inbetween?

I’ve just ordered the ‘decorwall elegance - mineral quartz grey’. The panels are 30x270cm and are £20 +vat. They are lovely textured stone type boards. I’ll upload a pic I took in the showroom. May be worth looking at that brand.

We've just had a shower put in downstairs and we have flat matt white aqua panels in the shower area. The rest of the room I've painted with a Dulux emerald green paint and the floor is a light tile with a circle/floral design. It doesn't feel too clinical to me. It is almost finished, just need the 2nd fix electrics and the skirting and architrave putting in

We didn’t get them from here but this was what we went for

I was speaking to the fitter at the time, and he said pattern repeats can be really hard to get lined up and can sometimes be a lot of wastage, we hadn’t considered that when we chose but glad we went for them knowing what we know now.
