Smeary windscreen

Ok hit me with your ideas!

The inside of my car windscreen is really smeary - no idea what with!

Ive tried cleaning with soap and water, vinegar, glass cleaner! But it’s still smeary which at this time of year (low sun) isn’t great!

Any pearls of wisdom appreciated!

Just use plain hot water as hot as you can stand (rubber gloves help) and a cotton cloth really give it a good going over until it squeaks then dry with kitchen roll. I had this after a valet and they’d used some kind of glass cleaner on it.

so basically you need to remove from the surface any product that’s on there. HTH !

You need soap, hot water and a squeegee to get the dirt off, then isopropyl alcohol to get the last grease off. Use a different clean microfiber cloth on each stage so you don't decontaminate the part you've done already. Go over twice with soap and water if you need to.
