I've been reading details of this case in the local newspaper - I'm devastated at the extent of the abuse she was put through.

she refuses to speak about it

absolutely the worst violence stopping just short of death

turned her life upside down

and he only got 4 years - obviously will be walking free soon due to lunatic early release scheme

he nearly killed her

how is that justice?

so our system regards this inhumane cruelty as what ? Trivial ?

I'm sorry that you're dealing with this. It must be awful finding out the details through the newspapers. Your dd is obviously traumatised by what happened to her and it's understandable that she can't talk about it.
