Last week I took 60 teens on a residential trip to London. I was lead organiser and it was the first time we'd ran the trip, so there was lots of planning and organising.

In the week before I was having dreams about the trip - missing the train, a kid going missing etc. i totally understand the function and purpose of this as a way of my body preparing / getting ready.

But we've been back a week and I'm still having them! Every night since we've returned I'm still having dreams about things that could have gone wrong - similar scenarios: missing kids, tube accidents, cancelled shows.

What purpose could that serve?

40 years after my last small pet died I still dream about them escaping/forgetting to top up their food and water 🤷‍♂️

I still dream about moving house and starting a new job. I have been in my job for several years and i moved house 4 years ago. Recently my dreams have taken a weird twist and i end up moving to another country.

I have dreams like that every single night. Losing luggage, getting on wrong train or boat or mode of transport, losing my friends, my possessions, forgetting where my hotel was, having to perform in a play with no rehearsals, being made to do business meetings on mysterious subjects I have no knowledge of, losing my phone...

Loss dreams are really common. I used to get the tooth loss ones but they've stopped now thank gawd!
