Recycling foil

Say you've had foil over a roast chicken, would you recycle it?

If so how?

If the foil is clean it can go in the recycling bin with cardboard, paper etc.

If it’s really dirty with fried on food it has to go in landfill bin. If it’s clean and has just covered a bowl in the fridge then you scrunch it in a ball with as much other foil you are recycling too (to make a bigger mass, they can’t recycle tiny bits) and then with the metal and tin recycling at household

Thanks for these explanations..

I loathe anything to do with recycling and resent it's intrusion into my life - but I begrudgingly make an effort etc.

We almost always reuse cooking foil, only recycle ( in the bin) if it's really baked on food where we cannot flatten the foil on the work top to be gone over with the dish cloth to clean it. The use of cooking oil spray on the foil first, really helps to keep the food from sticking onto food while it's baking.

If it's possible I was it and reuse it.
When it's knackered I wash it, screw it up and recycle.
Sometimes it's beyond knackered to the point of not being able to clean it e.g. if it's got fish skin stuck on it. Then I put it in the 'bin' bin.
