Gift ideas for 7 year old girl that ‘doesn’t like toys’

I find Christmas and her birthday so stressful because she genuinely doesn’t really play with toys very often at all.. she might have 5 minutes playing with Barbie’s or a baby doll every couple of months but that’s it.

Shes always been this way, she never played with toys as a baby either, she did however love anything that needed to be ‘worked out’ so puzzles, busy boards ect.

I really need some ideas on what to get her because just getting her a bunch of crafts sounds a bit pants🤣

She also loves:
Dressing up
jewellery
makeup(lip balms and the occasional kiddy eyeshadow/blush palettes) /fake makeup

hit me with your Christmas/birthday ideas for my non-toy loving child.

DS has always been liked this but he loves his Nintendo Switch with lots of puzzle solving and challenging games.

Is that an option or are you looking to avoid screens?

There is a company called Happy Puzzle who do all sort of logic type puzzles, many that can be played alone or with a friend.

Look at the STEM department of toy shops etc to find puzzles, science kits etc.

And crafts aren't a crap gift if you love crafts! If you want it to look impressive you could get one of those craft trolleys/boxes and fill it with stuff. That would have been my dream at 7!

Games, books, clothes, puzzles, new bedding, cooking items and recipe book.
it’s a bit old school but my girls loved playing with clay.

Magnatiles. You need the box of 100 though.

How about pair the crafts with an experience eg. Get some clay plus a voucher to go pottery painting,

If she is into crafts maybe something like a sewing machine so it's more of a 'big' present

Is she into music? Keyboard / electric drum kit / recorder etc.

Hair chalks and glitter tattoo sets are fun but not too 'grown up' in terms of make up stuff

Girls world styling head type thing if she likes doing hair styles

Marble run type game or those magnetic tiles to build stuff

Board games - can get awesome ones for kids now

Does she like writing and stationary? Maybe a scrapbook or a write your own storybook set

What about cooking? Get a kids cooking or baking set and some recipe books
