Bottles at airport security when people could take them past security

At Birmingham Airport
They have relaxed the 100ml liquids restrictions around 15 months ago.

Obviously not communicated well judging from the bottles and the flask thing plus another bin before the scanners. Plus told to keep liquids in your bags. Two passengers behind me had the clear bag

Guessing some know their return will have the restrictions. Mine does.

If you don't fly very often you might not realise it has changed, sometimes you are just packing and are so used to doing the plastic bag thing it's become habit and easier to carry on with rather than stop and look it up for your airports. I've got a plastic bag with travel size cosmetics in so it's very easy.
