I'm looking at the sofa bed. I think it looks great and want to know if it's comfortable. Both as a sofa or a bed. Any feedback appreciated very much.

Bumping this thread for you, OP. Hope you get some useful sofa info soon.

I'm also interested in this looks lovely but I read a review on dunelm which says it's not very comfy .

timerz · 12/10/2026 22:25

Just one review isn't it, others seem to say it's fine!

ooo they look nice!

I have the snuggle chair!

tough to say if I’d recommend - we got ours for sleeping with the baby in the nursery, so it was never about a luxury sleep experience. The mattress is THIN and a weird size. The springs creak like nobody’s business so we ended up shoving the ottoman on the end of the chair, folding over a double duvet into a sandwich/sleeping bag and sleeping like that (gives some extra cushion too).

If it’s people staying one night and they’re young, it’s a cheaper sofa bed than most, but I wouldn’t buy ours again

timerz · 12/10/2026 22:42

Oh so not comfortable as a bed? It is for a young person and not for everyday. There doesn't seem to be an ottoman for the pink striped one that I can see.

Every sofa bed I've looked at has bad reviews for the bed! Except the ones that are £1000+ 😥

We also have the Scott sofa in velvet by Made. That is 1000% more comfortable than our Beatrice Snuggle chair. It’s not a sofa bed, but take off the cylinder pillows either side and even the backrest pillows if you need more width, and it’s like a single bed

MauriceTheMussel · 12/10/2026 22:48

It’s a smidge over the grand though

if You’re in London or Essex/Kent, check out Lofty’s on IG. They’ll have loads of this kind of sofa and possibly some sofa beds. They buy up excess stock so you get a great price and no wait time. They’re legit. I’ve bought loads from them.

Thank you for your feedback and suggestions @MauriceTheMussel Very kind of you. My budget doesn't extend to 1K but I will check out Lofty's.
