Minipill endometriosis

Hey! Have the iud and was put on minipill (desogesterol) three months ago to help with endo symptoms! After two to three weeks it helped so much that I had very little symptoms but now three months in endo symptoms returning with very sore boobs and some spotting! Does anyone know why this could be happening? Thank you!

You haven't changed brands have you? My colleague got a different brand of the same progesterone only pill recently and ended up with horrendously sore boobs.

Hormones can just change though and 3-6 months is around the length of time we expect many hormonal contraception side effects to settle, so the opposite can also be true. The initial positive effects could be temporary too?

Alternatively, I can personally recommend drosperinone as an alternative progesterone.
