Consumer Rights - Order Not Delivered

About ten days ago, I ordered two t shirts from Frasers. I got an email saying that they would both be delivered on Monday of this week.
Evri put the parcel over my gate (although I was in at the time), and when I opened the package there was only one t shirt inside. The package wasn't ripped or damaged, and nothing could have fallen out.
I have complained to Frasers, who say that they have conducted a thorough investigation, that their systems show two t shirts were packaged and delivered, and that my case is therefore closed.
Is there anything I can do? I know that I only received one item, and I cannot afford to just write off the money I paid for the other tee.

Had a similar issue with Amazon once. I had my 3rd or 4th parcel that went missing before delivery. They refused to return my money so I raised a chargeback through my bank and I got the money back.

Thank you. How did you go about this? Not something I’ve ever had to do. Can you do this for part of an invoice (I’m obviously happy to pay for what I’ve received)? And do you have to exhaust any complaints procedure first?

For my bank (natwest) you just click on the transaction in the app and theres an option to report a dispute. I've never done it, but presumably they'll be some option to make a part claim or add a note.
I had something similar with a Passenger order in their daft paper bag eco packaging. The evri lady handed it to me and it immediately felt too light, I opened it and only one of the two fleeces I'd ordered was in there. I chased after her and it had fallen out in her van. She's lovely and been delivering to me forever so I don't doubt her honesty, and would have likely ended up in the same situation as you had I not noticed straight away.

Frasers are terrible! I once ordered 2 pairs of (very) expensive jeans for my husband. He tried them on but they were the wrong length. Had my return authorised and packed everything exactly how it had arrived (2 pairs of jeans wrapped in tissue inside one dustbag then a polythene bag). They said I only returned one pair. I sent a copy of the postage weight which was the same as on their label to me. Nope, there was only one pair returned. So I told them I'd be contacting the police as obviously somebody in their returns department is stealing expensive items. Miraculously 'as a gesture of goodwill' I received a full refund. I've never ordered from them again.

Open a dispute with your credit card and if that doesn't work threaten them will small claims court. Good luck.

Can you ask them for the weight of the parcel? (Is it marked on the bag?)

that their systems show two t shirts were packaged and delivered

It isn't 'case closed' under UK consumer law. That they claim they packaged two items is irrelevant - the consumer law is that they are responsible for delivering two items. The key thing is that they claim two shirts were 'delivered'. Ask them to prove that two items were delivered - they won't be able to - and say that you therefore require either replacement or refund.

I will look and see if there is a weight on the packaging. I hadn’t thought of that.
I guess their “proof” of delivery will be the photo taken by Evri. Unfortunately, it is lying on the lawn with two other parcels (from other companies) and you can see it is from Frasers but can’t tell how big/heavy it is.

Thank you so much for the suggestions.
