Dylon colour

I have a few items of black clothing: work jeans, trousers, tshirts and jods that have greyed over the time I've had them and I'vebeen thinking of machine dyeing them. Does anyone use the Dylon black dye that you can put in your washing machine and if so, how effective is it please?

Once it's completed a wash load does the dye get completely eradicated from the machine? Just thinking of any whites/pastels that you put in afterwards.

TIA

I have used it many a time and lots of other colours too, it’s been great, follow instructions, don't overload and run a quick rinse after. I make sure the next wash is dark load first just in case but never noticed an issue. Just be careful when you wash the dyed stuff as colour might run a bit.
also be aware that some fabrics do not take the colour as well as others and any with white stitching might stay white stitching.
