The orgasm gap: does this relate at all?

Currently reeling from a fresh breakup, and it got me thinking how selfish the bloke could be in bed. And outside of it, but that's a whole other thread.

When I look back (on many liasons over the decades) I can think of only one partner who insisted I had an orgasm every time. He's now married, happily I presume. Sadly I would put him in the minority of ex-partners who have been conscientious in that regard. That's pretty awful isn't it? But I can't be the only one.

i know the age-old joke that if pregnancy was caused by the female orgasm we'd have a smaller population. But I'm curious to know how it plays out in the wild. This episode has highlighted to me that i need someone who is generous in bed and outside of it.

Has it been your experience that male lovers (casual, long term, fleeting etc) have been focused on your pleasure? Or has selfishness prevailed? I rather hope everyone is partnered with generous loving men and I made the wrong selection. So if you're happy to share, I'm intrigued!

I know this probably isn't the type of post you want to read first of all but in my experience, I've only had positive experiences; but I do take the time to really know someone before I sleep with them.

I'm also quite picky and I know what I like and don't like so that actually helps 😁

Sorry about your break-up. You'll know when it's right. 💓

Also positive experiences my x's and dh really did want me to orgasm. Doesnt always come the first time but the willingness to get there is from word go.

There's a sex board to discuss this kind of stuff.

Why not head over there so they wank over the responses 🤢

I always make sure my partner has had at least one orgasm before I even start to think about mine - usually before penetration. I've always been like this and it is from a slightly selfish perspective in that I've never wanted anyone to be able to say that I was a crap shag.
