I'm a professional online phisher, very lucrative.

You first OP.

Blarn · 08/10/2026 20:19

I'm the Queen.

TheLightSideOfTheMoon · 08/10/2026 20:22

I collect roadkill and make soup.

I lie and tell people it’s minestrone.

Also, I don’t pay any tax.

I’m glad the thread is here because this made me laugh so hard

AnneLovesGilbert · 08/10/2026 20:46

I’m an olive oil taster. On six figures.

Thisusernameisalwaysavailable · 08/10/2026 20:48

I steal wallets for a living, just get paid on credit really.

Unmute · 08/10/2026 20:50

I read early 20th century detective fiction alone in independent cafes. I earn £232,000.

olivietolivie · 08/10/2026 20:50

I measure awkward silences. It is very lucrative.

Agatha1989 · 08/10/2026 20:50

I’m a registered nurse, never earned more than 38k, love love love my job, love my life, wouldn’t change it for a million pounds.

Franxi · 08/10/2026 20:50

I make stilettos for hamsters. Average about a million pounds a year, but I’ve noticed hamsters feet have got progressively larger over the years and it’s costing me more in materials. I just feel really bad about upping my prices due to the cost of living crisis.

Lench · 08/10/2026 21:06

I’m a carpenter. It was an easy choice as it was my mother’s maiden name & the first concert I went to. And like all good carpenter’s I earn £12570 per year.

500mileslong · 08/10/2026 21:13

I’m a fork maker, it pays pretty well but some days I just can’t see the point.

Edited

You must be working well into retirement if you're old enough to have seen the Carpenters live, no wonder if you only have £12570 to live on you won't have been able to afford private pension contributions 😂

Pearlyb · 08/10/2026 21:56

I do work for work, and I in return I get digits to my bank balance. You?

holachicatita · 08/10/2026 22:07

Why is everyone being so mean to the OP. It's just a question. I'm in banking and earn 47k a year

HoldMyWine · 08/10/2026 22:09

I am Spartacus

This thread always gets these comments. It is intrusive tbf.

ItsGotToBePizza · 08/10/2026 22:29

I work in a factory making toy vampires. It’s just me and one other woman, so I have to make every second count
