Vinted - buyers “demands”

Maybe “requests” would be a nicer way of putting it, but jeez!

I only started selling this week after being a buyer for a good few years. As a buyer, if I needed something quickly, I’d politely message before buying the item to see if the seller would be able to post quickly. If they said no, I don’t buy. Simple.

After pressing “buy” my buyers have messaged and said;
please send it quickly as I need it by Wednesday
(different buyer) please send it asap.
Another was nicer and said ideally they’d like it by the weekend, but understood if that wasn't possible

Im so annoyed by this (possibly irrationally!). Is this what people are like and I just have to take a deep breath and ignore?

That’s how people are now and it infuriates me too!
and I hate to say it but it’s normally the younger generation in their 20s.
you’re not obliged to bend over backwards for them. Ignore.

Generally as a seller I find people message and ask before buying, to check when I can post.

As a seller the biggest issue is with ridiculously low offers (eg listed something brand new in box for £20, that sells on Amazon for £35, and people are offering £8). I appreciate postage ups the cost but there’s saving a few quod and then there’s that. But people can offer what they like, I just ignore or counter offer. Just wish you could set a minimum offer value to save everyone time.

At least they said please! It feels like Facebook marketplace just click their fingers. I think in your sales listings just specify when you post.
