Ds DLA renewal has been approved and the letter said the payments will start from 7th October, and that payments will be on a Wednesday. Does this mean all my DLA payments will now be 4 weeks from tomorrow ? As normally we’d be getting the next payment on the 20th of this month, sorry just really confused !

I would probably ring them if it isn't in the bank tomorrow.

DLA payments are usually on a monday tuesday
Is it a renewal?
Assuming the forms were in on time it should just carry on.

Yes it’s a renewal, I was confused why it said the new payments would be on a Wednesday and the payments would start from Wednesday the 7th October. I just presumed they would carry on on the normal dates

Give them a ring if its not in you bank by expected date. They are quite friendly.
