Have a vent!!

Vent away here it can be about anything, a small thing that broke the camels back, a cf one, family, partner kids, pets, shopping just off load!
My vent today is a cf neighbour one.
Nice morning and the inside of my car needed a good vacuum. So there I am getting on with it when my cf neighbour two doors down walks up and says if you move your car forward when you’ve finished I’ll do my car!
It took me a few seconds to run it through my head (needed another coffee). So the gist is I move my car forward, so she can park up and use my (lovely) vacuum. I did say “don’t you have a vacuum?” to which she said “ohh I thought you wouldn’t mind!”

What is it about petty self entitlement that some people have? I don’t even know her that well, I’m very protective of my vacuum, it’s a non negotiable share item.

My neighbour a few doors down decided to practice shooting from their garden with their shotgun-I’m not against but not a fan of shooting as I live rurally. However, it’s near to my house, it’s noisy, scaring my kids & pets & just down right stupid & selfish discharging in a residential area. Entitled arse not fit to hold a firearm licence.

It wouldn’t bother me, letting my neighbour use my vacuum. Why so precious?

The firearm toting lot would piss me off though.

The RAC came out on Friday morning and diagnosed a dead battery. Unable to recharge or jump start (did well out of it cos it’s 10 years old!).
They said they could get a mobile mechanic out to fit it same day - but they added the wrong postcode (Walsall ffs!) - which sent it to a B’ham mechanic 120 miles from me.

Had to chase them twice to ask if they’d rebooked it - and they have - for “sometime on Tuesday”. That leaves me without a car for five days, I’ve had to cancel a day out with a mate, an airport drop off, and a day in the office to be at home when the mechanic comes. And they haven’t even said sorry.
