I’m mid 50s and a bit bored of my cosy part time role. I love fitness of all description and encourage my menopausal friends and elderly parents to keep mobile/lift. I wondered about a career change to something fitness related but have no idea whats available or where to start.

My friend trained to be a personal trainer in her mid 40’s and is now works at a health club in the gym and teaches aqua aerobics. She’s never been happier and she looks amazing.

I would absolutely love to do this but at the moment I don't have enough time to work out myself so I'm not in good enough shape to. In sick of working at a desk every day and think I'd be so much happy doing a job like this.

If you have the chance to do it go for it! A small local gym does a PT course, something like that could be a good place to start if there's anything like that near you. Or you could do a Les Mills or something course.
