Why did no one tell me about these before?

It's amazing! So easy to use.

Converted.

Oh god no, there is never enough mop juice on the disposal pads and they are horrible for the environment. Hard no.

FatAgain · 03/10/2026 22:17

Ummm no they’re crap, don’t use refillable bottles which is wasteful and expensive. I broke mine on a tanty and it was in the bin in seconds

shellyleppard · 03/10/2026 22:17

I find the pads are very fiddly to put on the mop and they fall off easily

Mydoglovescheese · 03/10/2026 22:18

I’ve used the vileda squeezy mop for years, but can’t get hold of replacement squeezy pads any longer. Bought a flash power mop and I’m disappointed with the results.

Rituelec · 03/10/2026 22:18

Utterly crap

MyArtfulGreySloth · 03/10/2026 22:21

I love mine. Much less faff than my big heavy steam mop. I just use a bit of extra antibac spray. I don’t get the hate 🤷🏻‍♀️

Globules · 03/10/2026 22:22

It's a huge step up from my old mop and bucket.

Polti steam mops are very lightweight.

I am with you OP. Also when the liquid is used up, put the empty container lid down in a jug of boiling water for a minute and you will be able to remove the lid and refill with your own product.

I have one but I don't use the disposable pads. I have some microfibre ones that fit the mop and I use the flash squirty floor cleaner.

I remember when these came out 30 years ago. I bought into the hype and got one utterly useless. Didn't clean properly and bad for the environment. Microfiber spray mop is much better op. Has a little tank to keep full of cleaning product and the microfiber cloth just goes into the wash.

Same but I like the method rhubarb

JanuaryLove · 04/10/2026 00:13

I love mine plus it's good exercise all the bending to change the pads 😂

Isn't the floor cleaner brilliant?! I've just discovered it and it dries so quickly too.

Fiddlesticks1 · 04/10/2026 16:45

I use them to clean tiled walls and floors. Game changer as it saves so much time.
