Which way around would you give presents?

I’ve got one ‘main’ gift for DP’s big birthday, then a bag of smaller gifts. Is it better to give him the main present first or make that the finale?

Big present has to be the last one!!

I’d go small first then finale. Otherwise all the small ones are a bit of an anticlimax even if they’re lovely. Whereas if you go small first, it’ll either feel like a build up or just appreciation for the lovely gifts then a big surprise!

Small first and big as the finale, that’s the way I always do it.

Always save best for last. This is why you have dessert after your main and not before
