We have a recurring disagreement in our house about what we do at weekends and so I'm interested to know what other people do with their weekends.
Do you spend one day doing 'chores' and then one day doing fun things? Do you do no chores at weekends?? Do you do days out/expensive visits to things?? Do you do nothing BUT chores???
We both work full time (occasionally have to work over the weekend too, but this only happens once every few months), have young children, neither of us drink and we both have quite unusual diets for one reason or another, so going out to eat or to the pub is off the cards!
We try and do one day doing chores (laundry usually!! kids homework, general house jobs) and then one day for 'fun' but this sometimes gets swept into doing things with friends/extended family so we don't actually get much enjoyable family time just the core family unit.
