Nice Italian place for lunch in Peterborough

Good morning all. Would anybody be able to recommend an Italian place for lunch in Peterborough? Many thanks.

Fontanella’s used to be lovely and I only say “used to” as I haven’t been for some time.

When you say Italian would you be happy with a pizza? Because one the 'core 5' spur off startups of the Napoli golden age of pizza restaurants actually set up in Cambridge, a mere 55miles away and well worth a trip.

Hi @ShakyBake , it is for a Sunday and it does look nice. Will keep it on my radar. But although we will travel by car we will be meeting others coming in by train, so was hoping for something city centre. It doesn't have strictly to be Italian food but we all like it so that was my first thought.

There isn't really a decent Italian in the city centre, The Pizza House on Cowgate is ok but very busy and can be hit or miss. There is Mattoni over in Hampton or Eye which is lovely but not in the city centre.
