How can I get rid of white lines that appeared on my black jeans after one wash?

Any ideas?

looks like the dye has washed out.

only thing you can dye it.

I get marks on clothes sometimes from washing machine soap scum/limescale build up around the door seal, especially if it’s a big load. If it’s that, a quick rewash will sort it, and it’s a reminder to wipe the door seal and run some washing machine cleaner through the machine.

Ah this drives me mad. Following for a solution!

The DS jeans have gone like this. Any advice anyone? We have dyed them. They look a little better

Washing them inside out means this happens a lot less. Try this next time, to see if it is less noticeable after the next wash, but if not, you probably need to dye them.

It might be too much detergent and an overfilled machine. Try putting them in a quick wash with no detergent. Turn them inside out first.

The only times this has happened to me is if I tumble dry them or put them on a high spin cycle.

Now I use an 800 spin cycle shake them and smooth them out before hanging them out, then once dried fold them so there are no creases before ironing.
