Restaurants in Bath (not Gordon Jones, sadly)

Help!
I've booked a few days away next week with DH in Bath.
I've got tickets for the theatre and a pre-theatre meal at the Circus booked for one evening. I thought I had a table booked at Menu Gordon Jones for another evening, but I'd heard nothing back. Rang tonight and they are closed all next week - curses!
I thought about Lucknam Park as I've stayed there before, but DH would prefer somewhere we can walk to rather than a taxi ride.
In a bit of a panic, I booked the Botanist. However, I'm looking at the reviews and it doesn't look good.
Any recommendations for a nice (doesn't have to be Michelin starred or anything) restaurant in Bath, walking distance from the Bird (30 mins at most).
Thanks in advance 😊

MN is sooo much better than TripAdvisor and the like - and I trust it more!
I started out asking about restaurants but @stillavid has intrigued me with The shopping in Bath has also got a lot better in the last 12 months.
Any other recommendations for shopping or must-visits will be gratefully received.
I already have theatre tickes and have booked a tour of the baths.
What do people think of the Frankenstein Museum and the Jane Austen Centre?
TIA 😊

I live fairly close to Bath and go to Cappadocia often. It has never disappointed

I don't eat out in Bath much but have had a very lovely meal at Clayton's Kitchen, and friends rave about Noya's Kitchen (Vietnamese) though I think it gets booked up quickly.

I like Solina a lot and the scallop shell.

If you cycle, hire a bike & do the two tunnel's linear path on the old Somerset and Dorset Rail line.

Skyline walk is stunning. Also prior park garden. The Holborne museum and pulteney street.

Locals recommendations soooo much better than Tripadvisor find the restaurant selection on that site really bad the most basic chain type restaurants are top rated.
