RIP Esther. You were such a lovely genuine lady and I'm sorry you didn't get the death you wanted.

You highlighted a problem that my parents were involved in, resulting in help coming forward to help them and others. That help was from a couple, one of whom was riddled with cancer, and would have totally understood what you were going through. Thank you, you really helped them and twisted the problem into something so much better.

I'm afraid for me her memory will always be tainted because she was one of the people who did nothing despite working with and knowing the rumours about Jimmt Savile.

Duplicate thread, late to the party

Oh honestly!

@Releasemeplease is this really the place for that? Fucks sake.

I wrote to Esther and had such a lovely reply back. I've always kept it and was touched she wrote such a personal and thoughtful reply to me.

It's sad that she was too frail to travel to Dignitas as she wanted. I hope she didn't suffer too much.

It wasn't meant to be offensive but I can't get past that and I'm being honest.

But on a thread for memories and condolences. If you felt so much that people needed to know your thoughts, you could have started a thread separately.

FFS

Agreed what could a woman do in the 1970s about that.
As not to derail.
May she rest in peace and her suffering is at an end.

I hope she does RIP.
I don't take joy in any person's death.
Pp on the thread are talking about their memories of her. I mentioned mine.
