Have others working in healthcare noticed a rise in adult anxiety?

I work in health care and have done for 20 years. In the past 5 years myself and colleagues have noticed a spike in anxiety. For example we regularly have people who have to leave appointments if theyre not called in within 5 mins due to anxiety of waiting in the waiting room, patients who phone us to ask us to phone hospital or GP as theyre too anxious to do it themselves or phone about the most basic things that they cannot work out. These are mainly adult people who lead lives and have jobs etc and have no diagnosed ND or learning issues

Don't you think it's partly the system is worse than ever? Eg until recently you could phone the GP/go in the surgery to get an appointment, now the Patchs system takes ages to fill out and causes people to get upset/anxious?
And maybe they think you'll get through to the hospital quicker than them/that they're more likely to get help?
Plus it used to be seen as bad or weak to admit to mental health issues, now they know they won't get judged as much.

Maybe but there's a complete lack of ownership. Also theyre given hand written instructions and some still phone to ask what to do ie theyre given a number to phone to order supplies and they phone us and ask us to do it !
