Then Theres CATo questions actually there's 10 forms to fill in. I guarantee i will mess it up. Just hope I understand it

. In a social group, I can easily keep track of several different people's conversations.

How do i answer that if i don't mix with people?

And what do they mean by. I find it easy to make up story's? Do they mean like story's that might be told to a child or do they mean lying about something?

Do you mix with your children together? Can you keep track of the things they want to tell you, or do you have to only concentrate on one issue, deal with it and move on to the next?

If I asked you to tell a story about a tiger who came for tea, could you tell a story? It's not asking if you'd have the confidence to tell it, or if you'd find it interesting. It's asking if you could make up a story involving a tiger who came to your house for tea? Or could you make up a story about a person who stole a magazine in a shop, etc. It doesn't matter what the story is about, just whether you could make one up.

I couldn't tell a story like a book.
I could bullshit though if I didn't want someone to get into trouble?

When I'm reading a story, I find it difficult to work out the characters' intentions.

And this one i can't read a book 😭 because I can't take the words in. I start on page 1 time I get to the bottom I have forgotten what I read. Sobi don't get past page 1

have developed a script to follow in social situations.

What does this one mean?

Why not just copy and paste the questions you don’t understand into an AI eg ChatGPT and ask it to explain them to you.

Didn't think of that

Do you say the same things in the same situations. Eg. Do you always say "Hi, good to see you" or "Hi, how are you doing?", etc?

I don't think so. I have managed to do it now. I asked chatgpt 👍

These forms are written by the neurotypicals and are a bit vague, which probably shows your autistic traits!

Yeah probably but it also doesn't because you have to give an answer. It just feels like your forced into ticking something when none of the choices fit you. Like one says would you rather go to a theatre or museum thinking none. Then it asks me about reading books. I can't read books
So how do i answer that. I dome it in the end based in the fact I can't read it 😬

With the theater/museum one i would probably choose theater but to me that could assume I'm absolutely fine around lots of people when to me there's less chance of anyone talking to me at a theatre compared to a museum

OP the issue with you asking on here is that your autism is likely to inform your answers and if it’s assessing you for autism then getting the answers from neurotypical people won’t help you get a valid assessment.

You’re trying to guess what the right answer is but you don’t understand the interpretation behind it. There is no right answer. Just do your best.

I didn't want answers 😳 that would mean it wasn't about me. I was trying to understand the question. Anyway that parts done now

The theatre or museum is a strange one. I mean musical theatre is my son's special interest, it's his safe place. Whereas his friend at school's special interest was dinosaurs so of course he would choose a museum where you might have bones.

They should just employ actual autistic people to conduct these assesments!! (oly half joking). We can usually spot a fellow ND person at 20 paces.

Whyohwhy99 · 01/10/2026 16:56

I kmow know no one can answer theses for me. But it confuses me. Like. Where it says can you complete house work laundry. It rarely gets completed because I go in circles with it so I'm not sure if thats a yes or no.

Apart from talking on mumsnet I don't ask for help.

I can use public transport if i have no choice but will avoid it if i can. I can make an appointment keeping them is another thing. But thats not what they asked is it ?
