Spend my Harrods gift card for me

Hi all, happy Monday. I left a job recently and as part of my leaving gift I was given a £50 Harrods gift card. Fabulous, said I, I’ll buy myself a nice new pair of jeans - cheapest pair - £135, so that’s gone out the window.

So please, wise Mumsnetters - what would you spend £50 on in Harrods?

I would wait for the sales, it should have a long-ish expiry?

Could you get a perfume?

I would treat myself to a beauty item or wait for the sales.

I had similar to Harrods and was really stumped - in the end I bought two steaks and DH and I had a fab date night at home, and a ridiculously lightweight Fulton umbrella which was about £30. It's so small and light, it lives in my handbag and I've never lost it!

Assume you can get into store?

I recommend going into the food hall and buying a few little treat items.

Another one who would head to the food hall.

I'd treat myself to some Harrods tea and biscuits tins.
