Kindle kobo book ?

My teen daughter likes to read manga and has asked for some for her birthdays. I’m wondering if she might be better with a kindle or a kobo, or stick with the books. Or should we just download a kindle app on her phone?

I personally would take a look at apps that deal with manga such as crunchyroll as I cannot see that kindle or kobo will have much of a range and may not be done well on their apps.
