It’s my daughter’s 18th birthday in a few days and feeling so guilty with how unprepared I am feeling, her sister had hers a few years ago and felt like I went completely all out.
Picture wall, pink bow ribbons around fizz glasses, posh breakfast set up, etc etc but due to timing, finances, work it’s been so full on and now we are a few days away with little to no preparation…
She does have both sets of Grandparents visiting, from different part of the UK, a requested meal out planned and her big presents bought, however she will be at 6th Form during the day (A level fun!!!) and there are no little fun surprises, decorations bought or the novelty bits that make an 18th memorable.
If you have been through this age/stage with your children, I’d love to hear some fun ideas or little gifts or surprises that made the day special, how can I salvage it with just a few days to go?!
