Will I regret choosing an iPhone Pro Max over the Pro?

I upgraded my phone on monday and instead of getting an iphone 18 pro (had 13 pro but it's on it's last legs) i ordered the pro max version. It's not arriving until monday. everyone has told me I will regret it and it's way too heavy/too big etc

I only went for it because it was only £2 dearer than the pro on contract. The other reason I went for it was because I hate ipads/tablets etc but do travel a lot for work so like the sound of the bigger screen to watch youtube without having to carry something else I would need to charge etc

anyone here use a pro max? should I have just stuck to the pro? I've never actually seen a pro max in person before so bit worried I'm going to hate it going off what everyone is telling me!

I have a 15 ProMax. I got it because the camera was a lot better than the Pro, though I believe in newer models they are the same.

I do like the bigger screen, especially for details on websites, but the size is a bit of a problem when it comes to carrying it. I usually have my phone in my front pocket, but the Max does stick out a bit, especially if the jeans have a short pocket. And you have to be careful about buying things like wallets that are meant to hold your phone & cards etc online because they often don’t fit the max if it’s in a case.
I think when I next buy a phone I might revert to the smaller pro, if the camera is as good as the max, though I do find DH’s 15pro a bit small to read text.

Dh has had a couple of Max ones now while I’ve stuck to the Pros. Every time I pick his up I think how heavy and cumbersome it is so I wouldn’t even consider it. I can do everything I want to out and about perfectly well on the Pro screen, I have an Ipad too but it rarely leaves the house.
