Has anyone got a TRTL pillow?

Just would like to know if anyone has one before I buy.

Just come off an awful flight - it must be my age because I don't remember ever feeling this stiff or finding my head so heavy 😂

I have the wraparound neck thing of theirs. Love it. Allows me a solid 5+ hours sleep on long haul - at least. Wouldn’t be without it. I don’t know if it’s the same as the pillow you describe?

Just bought one for a long haul flight coming up. They currently have a good discount on Lions branded ones.

Yes that sounds the same. Great to hear. I can not do another flight like that

Sadly out of stock as I would have loved a Lions one.

Then definitely get it. The wrap technique takes a couple of goes to get the hang of it but once you do it’s just so good! And I seriously have tried every such gadget available!

I was thinking it would be false economy to buy cheap ones and then still end our with a TRTL.

Does it fold up small? I do lots of hand luggage only

I've a different opinion. I was given one and hate it. Far too hot, can get in the way of headphones/buds and your neck endd up tilted to one side still.

I was so excited - but that's the EU link and it says shipping isn't available to UK. The UK link says sold out 😢

I was worried about the heat! I've been looking at the cool one.

Do you use a different type of pillow?

Sorry about that. I’m in Ireland so that’s where I bought mine from.

Is yours the fleece one? I bought the cool one for that reason but yeah, having tried it on I don’t think headphones/earbuds will work with it.

No worries, I do have friends in Ireland, I will see when they are coming over. I do appreciate you helping

Or they could post it to you. It shouldn’t be too expensive to do that.

Whathappend · 23/09/2026 23:36

I bought one for my trip to India this summer.

Can't recommend highly enough. I used it on the plane and on my 5-12 hour car journeys. Best travel sleeps I've known.

I didn't find it too warm. I used my loops/earbuds easily with it.

I felt a prat wearing it, but overcame my embarrassment quite quickly.

Only downside is that it's quite rigid, so takes up a fair amount of hand luggage. I kept mine in my vanity case and packed things under the curve.

yonem · 23/09/2026 23:57

Yes! I love it. They take up way less space than normal travel pillows other than maybe inflatable ones - similar to a book maybe? You could definitely fit it in the outer pocket of a soft sided cabin suitcase if you are hand baggage only.

I wear mine with earplugs rather than headphones and don’t find it interferes with that. Haven’t found it too hot either.

Not 'flat' flat but flat enough and certainly nothing like as unmanageable and annoying as those inflexible neck pillow things.

I've ordered one and it arrived today. So far so good. I will be using it in the wild next week, fingers crossed.

Oh good. Can you report back please?

thenightsky · 01/10/2026 18:51

I quite like mine as I suffer with awful neck pain due to arthritis. I do wish they'd made the velcro parts a LOT bigger though. They tend to come unstuck.
