Anyone suddenly seeing lots of promoted by MN posts?

Is this another new feature that is being rolled out? I've just gone onto Active and every 8 or so threads there's a group of promoted by Mumsnet threads clumped together? Not much point in having an active section if a large portion of it is adverts disguised as threads.

I haven’t seen this but I have quite a lot of boards hidden from my active page (eg AIBU). Is yours just the default? You might be able to get rid of it by hiding stuff. I also don’t get ads on MN because I use DuckDuckGo browser.

Excessive is the right word. I counted 9 promoted by MN posts on active just with me scrolling down a few times on my phone.

I have threads hidden but I don't think that would fix seeing them. I'm sure there were none yesterday morning when I was scrolling through active.

I'm now alao getting promoted by MN adverts in the middle of threads and a video advert at the top of the page. None of my settings have changed so it seems MN have definitely made some changes since yesterday.

It's been happening for quite a while. So many promoted by MN posts. I deliberately don't click on them, after accidentally going to a couple. They're just another way of MN making money and are not the friendly, helpful, mums first kind of posts you might think from the title.

I have never clicked on one of the PBM posts and from the titles have assumed they are just money making, AI assisted twaddle. I want real threads by real people. It's why I use MN.

I've not clicked on any of them either. They seem to be taking over active this morning. Whilst I appreciate that users to the site are down (if the view counter they randomly added to threads is to be believed) it does seem counter productive to add made up threads to a sie where people come to discuss stuff with real people.
