Can anyone recommend a height adjustable office chair that does not have wheels, or where it's definitely possible to replace the wheels with pads or something (I've looked at some assuming wheels could easily be swapped out, but they can't).
The room at home where I work has a very slight slope to the floor (ancient house...) - not detectable to the eye, but add a chair with wheels, and you definitely know you're on a slope (floor to the right of me higher than floor to the left).
Extra points if anyone knows of one that doesn't spin (or where you can lock it in place), as the floor tilt also causes the chair to swivel towards the left with gravity, so I'm having to use my muscles to slightly brace against that - massive back pain and fatigue by the end of the day!
This is what I currently have - the swivel to the left is driving me mad (I've put furniture pads under half the legs to try to even things out - it hasn't helped) and the high arms make it impossible to get as close in to desk as I'd like.

The right recommendation could Change. My. Life. So thank you in advance!
