YouTube is banned in our house for the kids because of its addictive nature and the plotless crap that my children liked to watch on it. And the kids managed to find stuff that didn’t feel appropriate for their age, so it had to be a blanket ban.
However, now YouTube and YouTube style programmes have made their way on to the kids’ Netflix accounts and I don’t want the kids watching it. I don’t mind slower paced programmes, educational stuff, or things with an actual plot, I just don’t like the family vlog style stuff and suchlike that’s appeared there recently. I’ve worked out how to block certain programmes like Salish and Jordan matter/Danny Go/Steve and Maggie, but I bet there’s lots more I should be looking at. What have I missed?
