Anyone had experience of car insurance claims handled through Northgate?

Has anyone had any experience of car insurance claims via Northgate? Someone bashed into my car while parked at our local tip yesterday. I entered my claim in Admiral and they are pushing very heavily for Northgate to process the claim and repairs rather than themselves. I said no to Northgate initially and Admiral are still continuing to push me in that direction.

It looks to be a new name for auxilis which I have used previously for a fairly simple claim. The thing I googled was credit hire to understand if I was comfortable with it and what I could be held liable for if the other insurance company wouldn't pay out.

Thank you @Username7258, I hadn’t realised they used to be Auxilis- stops people seeing negative past reviews!

i wouldnt want another claims management company.
hell no.

three years after someone ran into my mums car the claim is still outstanding. because her insurer apparently is charging too much for a hire car and the bad drivers insurance company is refusing to pay.

shes pushing 90.
its a disgrace.
greedy companies messing up people’s lives. fortunately the correspondence is by email. she doesn’t know how to work it. so im on it. if she knew it was still ongoing she would be worried. she has enough issues without this rubbish.

if it was me i’d tell them where they can stick their management company.

Sorry to hear about your mum @Elieza , the car hire charges made by some of these companies sound disgusting.
